Scottish Ballet: Tremble

If you want to watch something to lift your spirits in these unprecedented times, then go to Scottish Ballet’s website and enjoy Tremble: a short film commissioned as part of the company’s fiftieth anniversary programme.

It’s funny, enlivening, skillful and displays the skills and comedic ability of this talented company of dancers in ten minutes of joy.  Set in an abstract dining room, with a company of 26 dancers, it is full of fun and JELLY!!

Co-choreographed and directed by Jessica Wright and Morgann Runacre-Temple, the twenty-six dancers move at a lightening pace to the brassy track ‘Nautilus’ by Anna Meredith. It is clearly obvious that they enjoy escaping from the classical genre and literally eat up the chance to do something different.

You can watch repeatedly on YouTube for free and celebrate one of Scotland’s finest exports.
