Preview: Beethoven’s 5th Symphony

There is just over a week to go until the Inverness Mahler Players take part in performances of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony on Sunday 16th March.

The Mahler Players, conducted by Tomas Leakey, appearing as a full symphony orchestra and joined by musicians from across the country, will tackle Beethoven's iconic symphony alongside Weber's overtures to his operas Euryanthe and Oberon.

We will perform the concert in Inverness Cathedral twice - at 4pm and then again at 7pm. Availability for the 4pm concert is running very low so we strongly recommend securing your tickets without delay if you would like to come to this one. If you prefer a less crowded concert we encourage you to come along at 7pm.

We hope to see you at either (or both!) concerts.

Tickets for the 4pm performance can be purchased here Tickets – Beethoven's Fifth Symphony – Inverness Cathedral

And for the 7pm performance here: Tickets – Beethoven's Fifth Symphony – Inverness Cathedral

(Steve Arnott will review this concert for the Edinburgh Music Review)
